Femme Fatale

Fashion campaign for fashion designer Helena Mertlová

Leading Czech fashion designer Helena Mertlová presents her new limited collection Ready to Wear Fall 2012 / Winter 2013. The whole collection named „Femme Fatale“ is full of luxury and timelessness, gentleness and romantic pomp. The main fabrics include silk, silk taffeta, satin and chiffon, and the colour palette is dominated by powder tones enhanced with black and white. Moreover, the collection is innovated by the combination of gold and black in the spirit of Art Deco. „In this limited collection, you will find an iconic ribbon dress which underlines your uniqueness whenever you wear it. Gown in a silk dress and become the finest and most charming creature. Choose black and be the star of every big event.“ This collection also introduces luxury jackets made of top quality silk. Helena Mertlová will soon introduce her limited collections RTW in Los Angeles under the brand Helen Mertl.

The face and ambassador of Helena Mertlová’s fashion campaign is Hollywood actress Barbara Nedeljáková. Barbara was born in Czechoslovakia and starred in the films Hostel 1 and 2, Children of the Corn, and The Hike. For her performance in The Hike, Barbara won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the British Horror Film Festival 2011 in London. „Barbara epitomises distinctive beauty which unequivocally reflects the philosophy of the brand.“ says Yan Bulka, marketing communication manager of this original fashion brand for the U.S. and European markets. The campaign Fall 2012 / Winter 2013 was photographed in the unique industrial areas of Edison Palace, at Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge and Fusion Design
Hotel in Prague by the talented Slovak photographer Pavol Nedeljak.
